You’ve made it to the Startline- and now, you’re looking to grow your distance and fitness.

The goal of this clinic is to expand on the basics to complete a continuous 10k.  Looking to build fitness with an introduction to some interval running, hill running and longer runs, we include information that goes much beyond the basics to give you the tools to go the distance!  This clinic is for humans that have done some running and are looking to learn more, runners who are looking to grow from the 5k distance or runners who may be coming back after a break from running.  Our goal is to build to distance safely and have fun along the way!

Included:

Weekly Wednesday evening group run

Two weekly homework runs, to be do on your own (or with new running friends from the group)

Weekly session pre or post run on a running related topic, which may include: mobility for runners, how to pick the right gear and shoes, intention setting, meditation and mindfulness for runners, instruction for proper running form, nutrition and hydration for running

SOME RUNNING EXPERIENCE RECOMMENDED

DATES: April 23 to July 1 (weekly group run is on Wednesday at 6:00pm from Community Natural Foods in Edmonton.
